Who is TAVASA?
TAVASA IS ONE YEAR OLD ON 8TH AUGUST 2009, HAPPY BIRTHDAY WISHES TO EVERYONE AT TAVASA.
TAVASA is the Transcriptionists and Virtual Assistants of South Africa. The initiative was pioneered by Gaynor Paynter of Typewrite Transcription and Typing Services, http://www.typewritetranscription.co.za and Alison Fourie of AMF Typing Services cc, http://www.amftyping.co.za.
This is a place for Virtual Assistants and Transcriptionists in South Africa to meet, pool ideas, share information and job leads, and generally support each other so that we as South African transcriptionists and VAs are able to meet the needs of our clients. Newbies, we'll try to help and support you wherever we can. This is something that we didn't have when we started out and we would have liked it. People with experience, maybe we can put you in touch with others, and maybe you have an advanced question or two or can help newbies with questions. The idea is to provide standards and norms in our industry and thereby improve quality, provide support, etc.
Clients, our aim is to offer a holistic transcription or VA service to you to meet all your needs by grouping together transcriptionists, VAs, translators, proofreaders, and anybody else in related industries. Our group is growing on a daily basis. Contact us and discuss your requirements.
